So you don't need it up 0:08
The torque on the drain plug on my car is under 20 foot pounds why would I need a breaker bar? That's not smart. If you need a breaker bar it's too tight. and oil filters should be hand tight there shouldn't be any need for any oil filter wrench. I thought you were old school Scotty?
REV UP YOUR TRANSMISSION
Scotty, what do you think of using Fumoto valves?
Just a tip use torque wrench save striping out threads especially on aluminium sumps because you will over torque the bolt and not be able to remove next time don't use a big bar if no torque wrench use a small spanner to tighten up and hand tight on oil filter
Thanks Scotty but this is EXACTLY how an oil change is done. Nothing new.
We need to crowdsource getting scotty an air conditioned garage to work in. Poor guy is gonna get heat stroke!
I agree with everything except the oil weight. Older engines need much more heavier oil.
Should I be using a breaker bar to install my oil drain plug?
I've never heard scotty swear in my life i'm 12 what is this
