CVT— i have 07 maxima cvt wih 200k and no problem with cvt,,, i do change fluid every 30k
I've never owned a 60's beetle or bus that went longer than 75k miles without an engine rebuild or swap. In fact, there were many actual car shops in that era where all they did was swap out your air cooled beetle engine for a rebuilt one for $1500 or so. They did good business too; until they stopped making them in the 70's. I've owned three 60's era beetles and 3 buses so I know and remember well how unreliable they were. ( I do wish however I still owned the 62' camper original, with wood interior . They go for 50k now at auction )
