    could just get some cheap 8 gauge wire it looks like and make it longer. not hard to do since that's what it looks like your using for the battery. or if you need more power get 4 gauge or 1/0 gauge wire. and to clean your battery just use baking soda mix it with water and use a tooth brush.

    Use ring spanners or a socket set to remove/loosen the nuts rather than flat spanners which cause wear on the nut edges

    Thanks for the tutorial! I need to take my battery out to recharge it, but my wrench set isn't able to reach the nuts, lol. Guess I need to invest in some sockets.
