Water makes lithium explode
Thanks for the info Scotty ! Electric car batteries ( Lithium ion), are combustible and produce a very hot fire. Additionally, they produce thick concentrations of a highly toxic gas known as phosphoryl fluoride (POF3). This gas is hazardous if inhaled, maybe even lethal in excessive quantities.
If you have an electric car and you smell gasoline, FIX IT!
So if a gas car catches on fire, it's okay to hangout and put it out yourself?
Keep a good working order fire extinguisher 🧯 inside your car 🚗🔥 & Keep another fire extinguisher 🧯 outside your car & nearby your driveway, garage or house 🏠
That's a beautiful thing. You put water on lithium. It explodes into a major fire. Do not try to extinguish a electric car fire with water. You're going to make it worse
