This is getting ridiculous!
Our stupid government needs to pay us more money so we can afford their damn cars!
Considering Lithium for the most part, superseded NiCad for the last two decades and became 98% more efficient since they were introduced in the 1970’s, I’d say they’ve come a long way. Making the argument that from what we currently have in 2021 is going to be the same in 2030 is really naive. We have progressed so far with Li-ion since even a decade ago that thinking a Li-ion would freeze or not perform in another decade is just ridiculous. I love a gas powered engine and turbo as much as anyone else but even in this current day it’s hard to say that even the best car manufacturers can outperform a Tesla model S in ludicrous mode. 0-60 in 1.8 seconds goes to show that electric MVs are here to stay and considering the fact that even Ford is making EVs, (Mustang and even the F-150 Lightening) goes to show that the potential and future is with electric vehicles. I’m sorry to say but the future of EVs are ever evolving as well as the batteries that power them.
