I think a head mounted “go pro” camera will make life much easier, look at “gunman” videos, both Hands free and you see exactly what he sees as he works.
Would have been easier to find an intact and complete Benz of the same year and style and move the VIN over, paint it, and call it a day. Anybody who wants something like that restored is not going to be smart enough to find out.
