In this video we are going to see whether it is possible to repair peeling, flaking or heavily damaged clear coat on a car. As you might have seen in my previous video, it is possible to repair clear coat if you catch the damage before it reaches the base coat and start’s damaging layers bellow.

    You still need to wet sand, compound and polish. This is just the first step of the process unless you like the orange peel finish. Good beginner video.

    so many of these videos do not show you the finished job. I have just wasted 10 mi ns of my life waiting to see the finished job.. Waste of time.

    This fix looks like shit. This instruction was no good due to bad info on washing and 1500 grit or scotchbright. Car soap usually have wax and 1500 grit or scotchbright is not strong enough to smooth the paint and leftover clear coat.

    Sooo first off I do enjoy your vids and commentary. Really helpful. I bought everything you mentioned and had a party on the hood of my car… I bought 4 cans and used about out 2. It has a matte finish w the high glamour 0061 2k cans. Any ideas why or how to fix?
