Happy New Year Scotty! I live in Ontario, Canada and what the government is doing is upping our "carbon tax", which is a tax that we pay on our gasoline. Yesterday, price of gas in my city was $108.9 per liter. Can't wait to see what it's going to be tomorrow when this higher tax takes effect.
