The paint was really faded on this car and I really wasn’t sure how well the paint would come out. Well I had to do a little extra buffing mainly with the first stage to get all of the corrosion off of the paint but it really came out nice. The second stage really set it off and gave the paint a nice shiney almost wet look. I show you what the cars looks like all detailed out at the end of the video. Question ! I valet cars at a Volkswagen garage and occasionally buff a car. Now I understand there is a massive difference in Detailing and valeting. My job requires a clean car but done in reasonable time so if the paint is dull or scratched we only use the basics to polish . No polish remover is used as I said it’s a quick shine up . This guy thought me to always use the polisher at an angle but I think he is full of shit because this should only be used if there are deep scratches for example . Another thing I’m unsure of is he told me to spray water on the 3 m compound to keep it cool??? It leaves such a mess and you can’t buff it off. Do you use water ??whatever they tell me I do because I still get paid but I’d like to know personally
