All the weight of the Tesla pickup will be far lower then anything Ford, GM, Toyota and Chrysler/Dodgy could ever hope to produce. Tesla engineering, innovation, design brilliance and safest vehicles engineered on the road today the Ford F150 and other makes POS is not even in the game anymore once Tesla enters. Tesla range, quality and performance allways far outperform anything the so called former "big three" could even dream to be.
Trucks cost alot in the first place a 50-70k, Shouldn't be out the question .well designed and quality.
Hmmm. electric pickup truck? I can drive up to 300 miles a day running heavy materials from job to job. I don't think electric will work. I guess if you are a hipster with a ladies flannel shirt and jeans so tight it will make sure your balls never produce sperm electric will work fine.
Who is going to able to make an electric truck that will be able to go through water up to the bottom of the door jams is the question.
Also you drive through water in pickup trucks. Not going to go well for the batteries. Diesel electric would be far better.
The electric vehicles have yet to be refined and perfected. As you said Scotty, never buy a new model car.

Gas doesn’t degrade
F150’s are more reliable and are affordable
