I'm willing to bet that the 4 cylinder Silverados will be gone within a year.
4 cyl turbo on a full size is a terrible idea and just imagine the life span of the transmission as well. My favorite set up was on my grandfather's '76 F-150 300 I-6 w/ 1 barrel Carter Carb and 3 on-the-tree (3 speed manual column shift) 9" rear end. All repairs were super cheap and easy. But alas body rust issues plauged the 6th gen F-series, especially at the cab mounts and wheel wells.

So funny you say this Scotty, saw a gas p/u pulling a huge 5th wheel RV today and told my wife that, if you going to pull something so big and heavy you need a diesel engine p/u truck. Anyone who buys a full sized p/u with a 4 cylinder engine, especially a turbo charged one, is an epic dope.
