I want a ford maverick
I just bought a 2013 F150 Lariat 4×4 5.0 V8 with 90K miles. Got it for $18,000.00 and strangely felt like I got a great deal. I figured that if I waited too much longer, it would cost me over $30K for something similar. I wasn't looking for such a fancy model. Just wanted the extended cab instead of the crew cab, and they are hard to find in SoCal. I plan on keeping it until it falls apart.
Wanted to but a new 2021 Tacoma SR with the SX package. Went to Toyota and they wanted 5k over MSRP. I walked out and went to Carmax and found a 2021 with very low miles for a better price.
Don't think of it as your car being worth more, think of it as your dollar being worth less.
