i have a 10year old GTI, eyeing a used Is350 but it’s just not worth the extra cost. That and sadly VW cars don’t seem to hold there value even in this market….
I never needed all the stupid options.
Scotty me and my wife have a 2016 Corolla and couldn't hold out for time to pass. I couldn't bring myself to pay for a used car price right now. So we rolled the dice and got a second 2022 Corolla. Yeah we paid a little more but not much and hey it's a Corolla we'll have both forever HA!
Keeping my old car for now, 2010 Camry. 180K Runs like a Swiss watch, 4 cylinder Non Turbo base model, not a lot of hi tech systems, Why Trade up for something with a little more shine and take the chance of problems they are having with all the high tech electronics they have on the new ones. The one new system that drives me nuts is the car turns off a at stop, and restarts every time you take off just to boost gas mileage. Can't wait to see how this plays out when these cars get a bunch of miles on them, whatever you saved on gas, bet the repairs will cost double that. Will take the old any day over the new.

Ordered a Ram 1500 in March 2020 and got it June 2020. I don't think that's bad.
