Why buy a car that destroys the world worst than 10 gas hummers running al day..
I love my v8/2jz Toyota/Lexus vehicles I have. No thank you EV, you tried in the late 1800's and trying now but gas is still better.
When I was younger. I did not dream about driving around a big power wheel as I drive my power wheel up and down the driveway.
If I can't drive from Dallas to Nashville in under 10 hours (due to EV charging time), I'll never buy an electric vehicle.
We, as well as many other people, simply can't afford EV transportation. Hell, we cannot even afford a decent ICE vehicle at current price points, most especially new. Auto prices are insane, and the dealerships are plain greedy, as are the manufacturers. Who out there, in the 25 to 40K income bracket can afford these extortionate new car/truck prices, down payments, and monthly payments? No one we know. Same for used auto prices. And, from what I've seen, most of these used cars are USED UP. In fact, the term "Lipstick on a pig" usually well describes many of these offerings in used car lots. Most individuals out there, selling their own used cars are delusional when it comes to the price, and it has become very common for deception by dealers posing as individuals selling their cars in a homes driveway.
My car, with 258K on the odometer, trans gave out last year. It was an 04 Ford Focus that we bought new, and was arguably the best car weve ever owned. I had it off the road, in front of a business, but out of the way. I couldn't get a tow, it was a Sunday evening. I was 30 miles from home and had to call for a ride. I called the business the next morning and they were ok with where my car was, but said the state had already stickered it. Before I could get back there with someone and his truck, it had been towed. The towing companies have deals with the state where you end up paying hundreds just to get your car back. I didn't even know who had it, much less the funds. I could've put a wrecking yard pull trans in the car, and used it for a while longer for under a grand. Oh, well. Here, almost a year later, and still no transportation. So much for the retired and disabled in this great country!

Your premise is silly. A 4 door car is not a "utility" vehicle under anyone's definition. This definition has been the same for 15 years. IRS rule making on this has been in progress for 3 years.

Not even in….1000 years I'll NEVER BUY AN…ELECTRIC CAR…!!=> In Romana the cheapest electric caris 25.000euro and the wage i about 400 euros/month….We barely cn buy threhe food and to pay the bills in a month…!! ATesla costs 90.000 euros,an ammount which can buy an apartment with 2 rooms..!! =>So NEVER,EVER,most of us COULD BUY AN EV…!! 😈😈😈😈
These cars will fail in general. Combustion produces less pollution, and last longer with cheaper repairs and maintenance.
