I would never buy an Electric Vehicle. I would buy a Hydrogen Vehicle. I made my 2017 Explorer XLT an Hydrogen Hybrid. I can got 338 miles on a full tank of 10% Ethanol gasoline.

Great performance, at least in New York City (LA is to vast) for the first 6 months. Then the electrical/computer gadgetry starts failing along with the technological advanced features.
