    I thought you weren't supposed to spray liquids on the belts because it can make them slip.

    You can also use water, my wife’s car was make noise and luckily I checked and half the belt was gone yikes. Also check tension of the belt, if it’s loose it will also make noise as well as check the belt and see if it’s moving side to side if so one of the pulleys is most likely bad or is misaligned.

    My grandfather was a mechanic before he died in the eighties, And my belts were making noise so he put water on them and it calmed down,so he knew what it was.
