I worked at a Ford dealership back in the day- I could tell you some stories. Do your due diligence and find a good mechanic that won’t rip you off. Ask people, ask questions and find somebody in your circle that knows cars and ask them who does good work at a fair price. They’re out there, find them.
Not true on the gas cap less. Just saying. I fix them all the time with out replacing the hole thing.
