    Electric vehicles was fun when it was something you did playing around with home diy stuff. Now I am into little vehicles powered by lawn mower motors. Way more fun to play with.

    I like many parts of electric cars, the problem is that the technology needs a lot of development, and I consider it incomplete.

    I live near the lucid headquarters so I see a lot of test cars driven in my area. They look nice, but their whole thing is being better than tesla at everything and charge more. They ha e a few thousand orders, but are only building the most expensive ones.
    From what I hear they have a better build quality than tesla so they should prioritize affordable prices to increase market share over making expensive cars for people who can't afford them.
