I remember when the catalytic converters came out and the Japanese made copies
and the American companies were unable to stop them in court. Kind of a shame.
I have a 1994 Civic. The fuel pump went bad. I got one from Advance Auto parts. It didn't work. I took it back and they gave Me one that said Nipindenso on it which from what You have said is usually the brand that makes them for a lot of foreign cars. It didn't work, so I took it back and after the 3rd one, I finally got one that would work.
