Thanks for the uplifting speech pete
It drives me insane when people act as though they could never do it themself ! For example I was with a friend yesterday and his car has a sign due to a warped rotor or an unbalanced tire but he acts as though it must go to a shop! And that's the only way it can be done! Drives me insane!
100% correct Pete!
Need bring back Sammy salami
Amen to your speech at about 16min in. I used to resore cars for a living 30 years ago. I went into the IT field and just now getting back into cars. It's hard starting over at 50 years old but when I hear what you have to say it really helps. I love watching your videos. Everything is so much different now with products from 30 years ago. Stay safe and I'll keep watching.
Cool video Pete. Question for you? I watched every minute of your paint job of the blue 1969 chevelle SS. Every 18 clips. I know that wasn't a full restoration but it was very close. Did you put on the frame pads in the trunk? Around did it cost him to have that professional paint job done? I think you viewers would love to know how my a very good paint job should cost. I loved every minute, except you couldn't keep those young kids working. What a shame for them. Neal
Did a 1972 Gremlin complete rotisserie (which I build myself) restoration on the body, painted it with Shop Line base clear and added pearl to the clear. Completely assembled it myself, which included the engine (401 dual quads ) wiring, interior. Anybody can write a check but its great when you can say, YES I build it all. I did get 2nd place at it's first show, The World of Wheels , and I was worried how it would look under the lights. I was never so proud as when people asked who painted and I said I did in a three car garage. After that day it went from a show car to a GO Car
Right

I always say "If I can't do it by myself it can't be done" and continue to get the shit done. By myself. Fuck waiting on people. 1979 Chevy El Camino. All me. From beginning to end.
