Great video! You described the exact problem I'm having and it made perfect sense. I never would have figured it out without your information. Thanks!

Great video, I just replaced the evaporator, expansion valve and the condenser of my Escape 2008, the condenser was about six month ago, and the expansion valve and the evaporator was just 20 days ago, I add almost three ounces of pag oil 46, and then I did the vacum process, the gauges never reach the -30 marck but it was about -24, but after a moment the vacumm pump started to release oil, was that normal? thanks for advance

Good overview. The low pressure moving from a liquid to a gas (phase change) requires a lot of heat which it gets from the warm air making it cold.

So much good information on this video! Especially why a vacuum is pulled! Never heard the reason why before. Thank you!

Excellent video. So my question is where is the problem in a system if your evaporator core is icing up?

Thanks for this video. My 2015 Hyundai Elantra compressor clutch does not disengage. It is always moving even when I turn of AC and the low side reads over 120 (retard) and high side is 112.5. Could it be my compressor clutch since it will not let go even after disconnecting switch and power to the compressor?
