Has anyone had a mouse get into there wiring system and cause havoc? This past spring I took my 71 Heavy Chevy Chevelle out and changed all the fluids from when it sat all winter. After I did everything and got it looking all nice again and topped off with new fluids, I went to turn the key over and the dash started smoking, smoke came from under the hood and I had to cut the ground to the battery to get it to stop. Talk about being pissed off. My mate, my cousin and I took everything apart to find a bastard field mouse burnt to a crisp along with some of its little bastard babies. Talk about a mess and nightmare. After a few nights and a shit ton of beers thanks to our loving wives, I finally got pissed off and purchased a new harness. I would get a cat but my pitbull and rotty hate cats with a passion thanks to our neighbors cats that attacked and clawed the hell out of my dogs when they were puppies. There cats mysteriously disappeared when the dogs got bigger, not sure what happened there.

I play it cheap and use used connectors from junk cars, Got to make this removable! Soldering really should not be used on vehicles because its not vibration proof, crimped is better.
