wow man!! its illegal to vent r134a to atmosphere
I think you are one of the last few mechanics left.
Very educational, thanks for the video.
How do I find the max pressure ratings for the compressors? I'm looking into re-purposing an ac compressor for a hobby project and I can't seem to find any info online.
Easy explained thanks for the video
My Honda CRV 2006 model is making a occasional whooping noise from inside under the dash, is that a sign the expansion valve is starting to fail? I have no issues so far with the operation of the AC system.
You know your stuff, and you know how to clearly explain it. That's talent! You should be a collage professor. New subscriber here.
Awsome video.
Thanks – very good explanation helped me to fix my AC
Great video and very educational.
Over in Australia, we had RHD Brazilian built F250s between 2001-2006 with both 7.3 Powerstroke V8 and 4.2 MWM Sprinter straight 6 T/diesels. I have the 2001 4.2ltr Sprint motor which houses a different type of A/C components to the 7.3ltr.
Looking at the above vehicle, the system looks very much like that with the same vertically house evaporator. Talk about using old parts. ha ha
My problem is the air stays cold for 5 mins then becomes warm, like the outside but not hot like you have the heater on.
I had a guy look at it and he said my high side pressure was very high and when he spayed water on the condenser, the pressure dropped immediately. He checked the gas and its OK
Can you offer any advise?
I am thinking I should take out the evaporator and clean it?
Thanks for any help.
I'm impressed, great video. Very clearly explained, you know your stuff.
