This crap scams from mechanic shops boils my blood and is why I am so nervous about trusting any mechanic to service my vehicle when it's needed. Thanks, Scotty for keeping it honest!
They were probably just trying scare the customer into selling the car to them for dirt cheap so they could flip it .
Another reason why I do my own repairs on my vehicles don't trust no one.
What a ripoff! I wonder if the repair shop knew they inherited the car and thought they could get even more out of them?
Fancy iridium spark plugs get replaced at hundred thousand miles also that belt tensioner from AutoZone is $250 and starting to believe you don't make money fixing cars
