My fob works but none of the switches work on the inside to lock or unlock, it erratically locks and unlocks as Well. I have a 2008 chevy malibu..
Wjat about if the left side locks stop working when it gets hot outside but works fine when cool. Any ideas.
Switches on door panels and passager side lock work fine driver's side is in locked position and door will not open not even with key does any body know how to get it open?
This helps a little. I have that problem with my car. A 1989 Nissan maxima. I try to lock the doors and it won't even lock. From the drivers side, the key locks every door and it doesn't even do that. I need to get that checked on asap!

What if one door stopped working. Then a few months later another one stopped working. Then another and then the last door so that they are all not working with the fob or the power lock buttons? That is what happened to mine. They went out one at a time.
