Hi Scotty I never pay more than a few grand for a car. I always get five or more years out of them. I always service them myself and do my own repairs. If you look there is very good low kilometre vehicles out there. When buying a car I always look where it has lived if it’s a nice tidy clean place then it’s a good chance they looked after their car. Never buy a car a young kid has owned you don’t want a car that’s been raced and flogged. Love your videos and greetings from Australia ??

Build by the lowest bidder, sold to the highest bidder . Thats what it is in modern manufacturing .

Using a Ford as an example not good, Ford it's known to produce substandard products. I happen to own a 32-year-old BMW just shy of 300k Miles and no brittle plastics. plenty of plastics in that engine bay are original parts. My kids cars also raking the miles and years again still solid lots of plastic parts. So the disposable aspect may vary from brand to brand.

Hey Scotty, I've got a 2000 Honda Accord with 175,000 miles and the engine and trans are rock solid. The car is a rocket, but I've noticed when I did my last brake job that the K Frame on the passenger side is rotting out that holds the stabilizer control arm, it will eventually go. It was a bad design by Honda due to the air conditioning drained constantly on the frame causing it to rust almost completely threw. Should I do the repair it or place flowers in the back seat and send it off the the grave yard?
