hey scotty the man!! i got a question i hope you could reply but i am doing a timing on a vq37vhr and there is 3 chains and have 2 small chains on the side that goes be4 the big one but anyways the left (bank 1) chain is tight and the right (bank2 is little loose. will it get tight when i start it? // the timing chain tensioner are all tight
Maybe a stupid question – but is it possible to just weld or seal the outside of the engine around where the headgasket is? If it doesn't make sense to rebuild the engine anyway, maybe that would be a cheap fix for a "disposable" engine. Would it even hold?

Use a can of restore to see if it helps, it normally takes about 200 miles to see it working and cheaper than new engine
