Scotty, I am looking to purchase a new car and have a question about the gas. I find quite a few manufacturers recommend premium gas. I have asked at Toyota and Acura dealers if the models I’m interested in take regular gas to which they’ve said yes even though the website says premium recommended. Is it okay to use regular or mid-grade gas if the manufacturer recommends premium gas? I can’t seem to get a straight answer. Thank you.

So we move from manual transmissions to automatic transmissions. From an almost indestructible system to a fragile piece of crap system. It's the American way.

Um, I own a 2012 Honda Accord, 110,000 miles on it. At what mileage interval should have have the valves adjusted, you did not tell us at what point this should be done.

Hey Scotty, I love your videos! I'm just north of ya in Southern Illinois and I just bought another 1998 Chevrolet Silverado K1500 with 233,XXX miles on. When I test drove it, it was very cold snowy. I drove it around the parking lot in every gear and it worked just fine. Brought it home on a trailer and parked it. It has now warmed up and when I try to drive it the thing will only go for about 30 – 45 seconds and then nothing, it won't move anymore in any gear. It has a 4L60E automatic transmission in it. Should I fix it or should I replace it? I only paid 2 grand for the thing but would hate to have to put that in a new transmission. PLEASE HELP! Thank you and keep up the good work!

Hey Scotty, I am currently in the military and about to get stationed in Puerto Rico. I have a 2006 Jeep Wrangler 4L right now but it has 200000 miles and I am just hoping it survives my next tour (2 years). I have started wondering what I want to get next, I want something reliable and newer. I was leaning towards F-150's or the Explorers. I was wondering what car you think is a good option to invest in for the future. Thank you for your time!
