I talk about a 2017 Hyundai i30 /Elantra GT station wagon (not aviable in the US) with a tiny 1.0 T-GDI engine. I know the engine is the weak spot some day, but on the other hand: I know people who own a Kia with that same engine running for 5 years now (120.000km) and also someone who drives the non-turbo version since 8 years (112.000km). Both vehicles never had any issues and my old Kia rio was the cheapest and most thankful car I ever had > not a single repair needed in 10 years, just tires!

Something wrong when an American owned Mercedes Benz dealership does not hire American citizen Mechanics to repair wealthy peoples cars. Hire mechanics from central america while building an effin wall. The wall is the scam . Not willing to pay your own citizens a decent wage is the scam. This makes no sense except to the greedy dealer owner.
