The irony is the dealership requires the mechanics to be certified to change brakes and struts. lol. I know a have dozen guys that aren’t full time mechanics, aren’t certified that would have guessed it was the master cylinder leaking when they saw there wasn’t any abs codes or fluid leaking from the system. It would have been easy money for the dealer to have said the same thing, change the master cylinder and that should stop it. If it didn’t fix the problem the money isn’t wasted at the prices the dealer charges. It’s cheaper that they charge one hour and parts that eliminates half of what could be causing the problem than two hours and no parts and still aren’t sure of the diagnosis. At some point it isn’t about how smart you are to figure it out it’s about being cost effective.
These auto manufacturers are really auto assemblers!! Most of the parts are built by suppliers! I worked for the biggest supplier for ome parts. Actually, Ford was the strictest on tolerances. Ford and General Motors have gone overboard with technology! Probably because these geeks we raised need to be entertained every waking moment of their lives! Some have screens the size of laptops in full view of the driver?!! My son had a Tesla, that stupid crap is why he bought it! This technology is truly amazing, til it fails and you have to replace it!! He sold it and bought a house! Payments are bout the same!
I'm having this exact problem on my 2008 Jeep commander. Also about 138k mi. Sinks sometimes, not always, and bone dry underneath.
Anything brake related is safety concern for me lol
Ford was the worse transmission in the world every ford I had they all died from transmission failure 😂😂😂
Scotty, Does this Mustang have an after market catch can to keep the carbon deposits off the intake valves? Been thinking of installing a catch can on my Eco boost. I only have 29k miles on my Mustang.
Over 100,00 miles without any problems. I wouldn't complain at all.
Nice basic mechanics.
That’s a old Mazda mzr engine which ford revised but did a poor job on it
