But Scotty what about one that's not a Toyota
Ok ok ok nah on second thought better get a Toyota.
Scotty..when are you going to do a video on the the old Dodge Vipers vs the new Vipers. Like to hear what you think..
I used to have a Ford courier. great little truck. I wouldn't mind an OLD Ford truck, but I don't want anything with all that electronic junk on it. They were probably best in the late 60s' or early 70's.
Scotty hates GM which they did make alot of garbage but so did ford and toyota which scotty himself praises those two. However 99-2007 GM half tons should have made the list, their 5.3 really has been a great engine especially paired with the 4l60e. When serviced properly the majority will last forever. I've seen these trucks time and time over neglected and abused, beat down into the ground and still running strong when you'd think that truck should have been in the scrap yard years ago still rodding around town like it just came off the dealership lot with a teenager behind the wheel. GM can put out, when they're not specifically grinding dollar digits into their manufacturing/design & development. There's a reason why you see problems with newer vehicles and think "Gee you'd would have thought they would have figured that out by now?" well they have, and mastered that however the engineers budget department limits them to how well a certain design will perform for the materials they're budgeted to use.
Scotty, you don't like the Dodges right? I've got an '04 4 door 4×4 with the "Oh so bad" 4.7 in it and it's given me 235,000 miles with just basic repairs that I can do at home, like a water pump, spark plugs, wheel bearings. It still runs great. It still has the original 45RFE transmission it had when it rolled off the assembly line. It shifts great, doesn't leak and even the 4×4 system still works. Everyone says these Dodges are so bad but I've been really satisfied with mine. I've owned it for a few years now.
Buddy I would rather buy a Dodge Ram with 500000k and not buy a f150 with 50000
The best used truck you can get out there a bang for your buck is a Ram 1500
Hello Scotty, I haven't gone to U.S. but I think you missed to mention the Hi-lux, the one you mentioned about those photo from a terrorist riding a ute was in fact a pretty old Toyota Hi-lux, not a Tacoma. The Toyota hi-lux has a very good reputation here entire asia, BBC top gear even made a show about how to destroy an old hi-lux. Remember the terminator 2 film when Arnold drove a ute with the kid a.k.a john O'Connor? That was a hi-lux.
