Dont drive auto transmissions. So this is not that interesting
I have a 2018 ford escape 1.5 l with 26k miles, it developed a whining noise, i took it to the dealer and they told me today that the transmission needs to be overhauled. I have taken good maintenance care of this car and still I feel like a bought a lemon. They will replace it under the power train warranty, but that's only two more years, and then I'm stuck when it happens the next time. So much for made in America.

Manual trans is theft deterant for young urban car theives..
In the UK if you pass your test in a Automatic you can only drive a Automatic .If you pass in a Manual you can drive both.
