The 1990s Mitsubishi Montero SUVs or Pajero s in Asia and Australia were good ones.. Really well made but the trannies dont hold up .

Scotty hates on Nissan. I own 3 with 2 of them being CVT.
-2017 Sentra SR 1.6L CVT. Bought with 20,000 miles. Has 50,000 miles. Only thing done is brake change.
-2009 Maxima SV 3.5L CVT with 160,000 miles. Only repairs in 11 years: Alternator, Front Wheel Bearings, Brakes and front rotors.
-2005 Altima 2.5S Automatic with 150,000 miles. Bought used in 2005 with 125,000 miles. Only thing i've done is one spark plug, serpentine belt.
Had a ‘70 Corolla. Remember “get your hands on a Toyota, you’ll never let go”? ? had 12” tires, great mileage, body fell apart almost immediately, dumped it after 18 months. Yep, I let go until my RX350’s came along.
Yes, i knew someone who had a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee .. The trannie went kaput in less than 80 000 miles..
But I think Mitsubishi have very strong 4 cylinder engine

Newer cars these days arent like the old ones. They make it difficult to fix so u have to take it to the dealership.
