I was wondering which brands will you choose … And you are on the point. Don't know so much abt American cars besides GM, but all the others I know well. Especially Mercedes. Still good car but for last 10-15 years you can see stuff breaking down or issues you never saw on older models.

We have an old 1997 VW Passat for 12 years. True, I had to replace an entire engine, because I barely took care of it during college and it blew after not changing oil for too long, but other than that I had no problems with it and still driving. VW in States I think are made in Mexico, maybe that's the difference.

I know a guy that has a Chrysler Voyager for years and it never let him down. From Norway to Italy. It drives great.
So basically, technology has ruined the quality of cars…
