4bt Cummins Tahoe Gets BIG Brakes – How To Stop 7400lbs – NBS – 2020 Silverado Brake Upgrade – DIY

Well tonight is the night… I finally start installing some of the parts I’ve had laying around for quite a while on the 4bt Tahoe.

This upgrade can be applied to any NBS (’99-’07) Tahoe, 1500 Silverado/Suburban, Yukon, etc.

Stock rotors on the NBS Tahoe measure at roughly 11.9″. This upgrade bumps that up to 13.5″. With the 4 piston calipers and hydro-boost brake booster, this 7400lb Tahoe now stops on a dime and will give 9 cents change back. Huge improvement and much needed for the weight.
