well he does keep saying WAX AND GREASE To CLEAN THE REPAIR AREA AND SOUNDING SUBSTRATE WITH 3M WAX AND GREASE REMOVER it makes no fucking sense its like saying to cover the patch with wax and grease then use 3m wax and grease remover to clean it off

wax and grease remover removes oils from skin and hands. its like painting a car that had motor oil on it the paint doesn't adhere. its just extra precaution in this case

oh i know what wax and grease remover is for i have used it many times its the way that is explained in the video from what i can tell he is saying to clean the part with wax and grease THEN use wax and grease remover to clean of the wax and grease that you just put all over the part lol

for god sake dont do it this way it will fall off in a year weld in steel then use body filler

alot of error in that video he should weld a peace of metal first to make a good job befor laying the bondo onto it what he did is only a patch job anwhen he primed it he should prime the complete fender not masking it half way to avoid leaving a gap mark where the tap was that video for what i can see was an 3m product video for business purposes

Oh no! that is so bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will lend this guy my welder, just don't create a bog sculpture again please!

This video just got so much vote ups because it's been done by 3M.

The work is neverless nonsense. Give it a few months and the filler will crack due to temperature variations and vibrations.

I can't believe this procedure (or music) was endorsed by 3M. Never use filler to patch holes.

Why would a company like 3M recommend using fiberglass? This is the most common half-assed repair technique that has ever existed. Seriously Pitiful.

ia it cheaper just to buy the hole part
