The water bath filter is literally a bong lol. Gotta empty out your old bong water every so often!
Im a little obsessive when changing oil, my car recommends 7,500 intervals, I do 3750 to 4000 but I only change the oil filter every other oil change. its a Subaru with a top mounted filter. and I use a god quality filter that is rated for 10K+, am I being counter productive, Im just trying to keep up high intervals at a price point I can afford or should I go to a cheaper filter and change it often.

What is the best oil filter there is?
I have a 2016 Subaru, it consumed approximately 0.5 – 1 quart every 4500 miles from the factory using mobile one. Switched to Valvoline (high mileage), consumes about half as much now (engine may finally be broke in).
Scotty, I have used duralube in about 20 different motors, I use it in mh transfer cases, front end, transmision. I am not as seen on TV guy but I tried it when it first came out and I swear by it, have you ever tried it?
