Ford has such a bad reputation since i was a little boy
The last Toyota I ever bought was in 1970. It was such a rolling pile of junk, I never bought another one. Hoo boy, I’m glad I missed that boat. Fanboi. :^)
One thing that's kinda ironic about my experience is that I love my '06 Ford Fiesta (granted, it's not an American Ford) but I am definitely NOT buying another one. Ford have been constantly shooting themselves in the foot by stopping their work with Yamaha and Aisin, and the decline in the reliability of their cars clearly shows!

I bought a 1980 Skylark brand new. It was a pile of junk. 26 years later I bought a G6 that was nothing but problems. I thought after all that time it would be better, I was wrong! Never will I buy GM crap again.

I've owned a Galaxy 500, 4 LDTs, Thunderbird Turbo Coupe, Mercury Tracer, 2 Mercury Cougars , 2 Mercury Grand Marquis through the years & am driving a Ford Crown Vic LX now. None, ever left me stranded.😲😲😲
