I will NEVER by anything that is NOT MADE IN JAPAN. Why? Because neither my Mazda 6 nor my Toyota Tacoma has ever given me any problems. Japanese workers are proud of their work and constantly pursue perfection. That shows in the quality of their vehicles.

My 2019 ram classic with a 5.7 with 54k miles is doing me just fine with zero problems.

My Lexus hybrid came with a 15 year warranty on the battery. I wouldn’t by a vehicle with a 5 year warranty.

You would think these companies would learn. Nope just corporate greed and the CEOs only answering to the shareholders…

When Toyoda announced that he’s stepping down this week, he said, to paraphrase, he’s too old fashioned and simply can’t adapt to the times. That’s how Scotty’s EV rants feel – stuck in 1995.

mr.kilmer, do you know what electric car owners will do when their car's batteries fail after the warranty period has expired?..
(if they can find it..). They will flock to junkyards..to buy old petrol cars.. 😄😄😄

Well it's much more likely that a Japanese car is built in the United States then an American car, so mainly that concern is are you sending your money to a US Corporation or a Japanese corporation… as far as supporting jobs though, you're supporting more jobs buying a Japanese car made in America than an American car made in Mexico

You described my exact experience. I had a GM and my wife had a Ford when we got married…total excrement….discovered Consumer Reports and it's been nothing but Toyotas and Hondas since. I would love to by American, but being the 2nd most expensive expenditure after a home, I cannot afford to cater to Detroit….and I still drive a Toyota truck I bought new in 1986!

Jeep, BENZ, Ford and GM pure crap 💩
