In this video I have a look at a 2014 GMC Yukon that has a customer complaint of a low brake pedal. It doesn’t take long to duplicate the customer complaint and find the cause. These systems work off from a vacuum pump and they are a pretty common failure item. -Enjoy!

What they need to do is add an electric clutch to the pump so there are more expensive parts to replace. This would increase the efficiency by 0.2%.
Why GM don't make the recall for this 'Dangerous' fault is because they are too big a company who can say 'F*&K you….deal with it……No comebacks….
'Optional brakes'….brilliant. In American cars brakes are a luxury! But as long as the stereo works.

You would think they would program the ECU to light the brake light on the dash at low vacuum levels.
What the heck is a stretch fit belt??? Never heard that term before.
I love GM products but this is ridiculous ? I have a buddy with a 2016 Silverado I'll be sure to have him look out for this. GM must be waiting for someone to get hurt before they issue a recall. Any way thanks for sharing, Happy New Year!!!!
