I just replaced mine which was just slightly different because my car's a manual and has three bolts to the engine. The easiest way is to put the car up on ramps and you can get to the lower left bolt and the bolt that goes through the motor mount very easily. I purchased a 17mm rachet and didn't even need it. Also be careful of the harnesses that are in the way. Break on and you're up a creek. Do the same as Jerry did in putting all the bolts in part way and it makes a quick job. The shop wanted $165 for the mount and another $120 for the labor plus taxes and "shop fees". These parts are all over ebay for $25 to $50! All in all, it took about 35 minutes to complete.

Why not disconnect the wires…they have connectors on them. Also, I would think that having the front of the car raised using jack stands would allow you to work from under the car and make the job a little easier.

Just got a dealer quote to replace front right on 2007 Honda civic. 450$, part was 300 from the dealer. 180 on Amazon. YouTube kicks ass thanks for the vid, nice camera.

Hey Jerry, how many motor mounts does an 01' EX Civic have? I think I have a broken one because every time I go passed 60 MPH and let go of the accelerator the steering wheel starts shaking!

I just found out my mounts are broken, i asked for genuine parts n its about $500. So my question is, are aftermarket mounts reliable. They less expensice. Whats ur opinion on that?
