Everyone…..This is a potential safety issue and complain on any to http://www.safercar.gov Also… be aware on the civic failed motor mounts @ 50-60k, cruise control button fail, failed visor, and others.

Helped a lot… Had a local mechanic replace a broken front motor mount (the same one you were working on) with an aftermarket part. The second I got back in my car the vibration inside was almost deafening. The replacement part looks nothing like the part you're using, only two bolts instead of three. Read a bit online that aftermarket motor mounts can cause issues on these generation civics. Sounds like OEM is the way to go…
Not sure I can handle wrenching it myself but I'm glad I'm more educated and understand what needs to be done.

I have a 2004 civic and that same motor mount is slightly different then the one you have! What year exactly you have?
