In this episode we will remove the rusty old exhaust that is full of holes and already lacking a muffler, since it rusted through and broke off. We will be replacing everything behind the catalytic converter, so we bought a new intermediate pipe and a Thrush Hush aftermarket muffler. We’ll get a little creative and patch/reuse the old tailpipe in order to keep this as cheap as possible!

I was glad you used the technical terms for the parts you were using. A lot of people don't know what a doohickey is or that it is used on several locations around the vehicle. 😉
Your videos are very entertaining and educational. Good job and thank you.

a useful build for the future is a hole in the ground for more space under the car

The shocks double as a droop limiter. If you unbolt them the axle will come down further and you should have your needed clearance. I know this from working on my 4th gen trans am, which has the same rear sheet metal as the 3rd gen.
