Pete…. if youre gonna spend $600 a gallon on paint, why not just BC/CC it?
And no, i cant see a single stage being better than BC/CC. even if it is high quality shit. CC means if you get a scratch you might not lose your color. and SS doesnt do metallics or pearls very well. so 😛 lol
@godofm3tal1 The paint that was used on the inside and underside of the car was singlestage, and it hast to all match when you open the doors, and trunk. On the fenders and engine compartment single stage is the best to use. Pete
@swrnc yeah i agree its good stuff all around. i just would have thought hearing single stage when talking about a show car was like grinding nails on a chalkboard lol but yeah, i mean you dont really NEED the clearcoat… especially for a solid black. SS scares me. u get a run in it, and its hard to get out 🙁 or so has been my experience lol
