In this video I have a look at a customers Chevy 2011 Silverado that came with a customer complaint of overheating. Customer also says there is a mysterious fluid leaking a trail on the ground everywhere he goes. Doesn’t take long to see the leak in the radiator tub. Let’s get this radiator swapped out and get this guy back on the road.
-Enjoy!

I generally like oem radiators better because the tranny cooler thats built in always seems to perform better than the aftermarket ones.

You made me laugh about the jugs. I thought I was the only one that complained about that. You are totally correct about aftermarket radiators. You never know how they are going to fit or last but you can't beat the price. Luckily I didn't have too many comebacks and they all had radiator leaks mainly at the tanks,

I don't know if it's possible in the shop but working at home with coolant ive used the smallest plastic kiddie pool to catch coolant. I still spill some but it catches 90%

Hey Eric, I helped my brother change our his chev truck radiator and I broke one of the plastic secondary clip thingy. Going back together I'm confident the engine oil cooler line snapped in place but as I said the secondary plastic thing was broke. Two weeks later I got the call to bring my trailer and pick him up from along the highway. The cooler line came out and dumped the engine oil . Before he caught it he spun a rod bearing. What can be done to replace a broken secondary clip thingy? You've got me wondering so I'm going to check "the Google"! Great videos!:)
