    and little tip ass hat. DO NOT SAND A BLOCK FREE HAND WITH BOTH HANDS. I makes for 2x the error in what you are lookin for. Or 2x the time…both mean $$$. As a amateur and only doing cars for 6 yrs and seeing these "professonal" vids on youtube I can see why I have 13 1st place and countless 2ed and 3rd place jobs out there. My sanding blocks consist from a set well more 3-4 sets cut up and pool noodles cut up and down and sideways and brances from trees in my back yard and home gym mats. 90% of my work the durablocks cover. I also use sand paper gued to my pocket knife….we all know there are 100000001 ways to sand and even those that can use their hands only have figured out how to make a class winning paint job.

    Pete you wasted my time and I think you are wasting Dylans time as well. You are a douche bag 100% I bet with 1/2 the tools I cold turn out a show class car to your auto collision car repair job. and I am just a hobbyist. hence 1/2 the tools. I already have 13 1st place cars and 3-4 2ed or 3rd place cars in auto shows and I just work out of a single bay home garage…a very narrow one that I cannot open the doors fully lol. Hre is the sad part for you. I have only done about 34 cars….well not about….I have done 34 cars lol. I am sure you have pushed out alot more in your career as a "professional. Guess some wanna rip peole off and make money and some have pride in their work. If i have to replace a panel I charge the cost. I am sure you charge cost + the usual 30-50%. My time is worth money but i do not charge the 2 mins to order up a panel. If I get charged 59.99 My customer pays $60 just to keep it simple. If I pay 394.99 the customer pays 395… I do not believe in ripping off people like most garages/body shops do. I even go as far as showing my customers my invoices so they know they are very comfortable in knowing they are not getting getting ripped off with markup on parts. I have been doing this as ahobby for a few yrs now and If i was feeling more comfortable in giving up my $$44 hr reg job I would quit it and do it full time. Even though I am not known for show class jobs in a bigger market my name is well known already locally. I take in any typical truck for a usual set of rockers an cab corners and do those and spend the rest of the day that its finsished polishing the rest of the body cos well it was day off and nothing else to do. But thats the effort that people push your name for. Now if I did this as a profession I am sure I woud charge 50-100 % on parts to cover over head and retire wel before peole that have t work their asses off before they retire lol. But well thats me and well thats part of why I do not start up a legit business. I prob make more as a side job that I wood with opening up a shop as there is not alot more over head from operating from my home.

    Have you been broke as a bum. And used a coke bottle and insulation foam as a sanding block.

    We had uniforms when I was in a shop lol but again when someone came to pick up there porsche or what ever it was that cost more than my house. Had to look good.
