This is the last video in the series of Large Rust Hole repair using fiberglass patch, the finished product could have been better one more coat of filler and more spot putty but this is an older car that will be off the road in a few years. This video is just showing an alternative to metal patches to help people with less knowledge of metal forming and welding this is much better than tape and can keep you going for years and it will pass a road side inspection. If you don’t mind how straight or smooth the finish it is you can finish the job a lot faster than in my video. . This is just one way out of many most body man would recommend a replacement panel or patch that is welded but for an older car or beater this works fine, this is not restoration. I don’t always do this I use metal for door skins, rockers, cab sides, quarters etc but for hard to form areas fiberglass is the stuff.

What the fuck did I just watch? Watching your previous video when you applied the filler was putting my heart into a pre stroke state. Then I see your final painting and I fully puked out a perfectly good meal what a waste
Great Job, when ya got an old car you want it fix, That's the best way, If ya take a little more time and care.. Nobody will ever know it was repaired.. I've done plenty of work like this.. Keep in mind, You don't put a $1000 dollars worth of work into a $500 car.. Do it quick and nice.. It works
Sorry, but u flunked, U are not a body man, and never will be, I have seen better
not a bad job for a work car its not a restoration or new car cheaper than taking it too a body shop
What a crap job. Seriously.
Learned a lot.
love how all the haters are knocking him but he's the one with 50k subscribers….
for a beater car that was a pretty good job. Now if it were a SHOW car, a lot of the comments on here would be credible. Good job kurtscottage but I had problems hearing you at times.
Kurt, never mind all the effin’ negative remarks. Your videos have been extremely helpful to me. Following your techniques, I patched some holes near my car’s wheel wells that would have definitely caused the car to fail inspection. I’m not handy with tools at all, but it worked. Do you recommend applying more than one layer of fiberglass filler? The repairs I made with one seemed thick and stable enough. I then applied traditional body filler so I could paint the area.
Thank you so much.
My eyes ? no puedo creer lo que acabo de ver me duelen mis ojos
