You missed a step, Say you have Mobil 1 motor oil. Take a little oil, on a towel paper and lube up the lip of the filter and where the filter gets screwed back on. Clean, then re lube and then screw on the oil filter. 😀

Always add a little oil to the rubber on the new filter to ensure it seals!!!!
