    Do a 96 misabishi galant. There are about 30 steel plates with the sharpest corners. 200 screws n bits. Terrible.

    Spark plugs on a triton 5.4. Very few techs will attempt and some shops charge $1100 just to do it

    Never understood why the manufacturer didn't just put a door or slot to pull out the heater core and/or the evaporator for that matter. The second crappiest job ever was the fuel pump on V6 GM cars. Not very hard, but the fuel pump sits right under the back seat. Pull out the backseat and you will find an "X". It's like they should have punched that area out at the factory and didn't. Toyota however, places a door over the top of the fuel pump under the back seats. Pull out rear seat cushion. Remove 2 bolts and r&r fuel pump. Job reduced to under an hour and you don't have to fight with a half full tank not wanting to go back correctly.

    I would agree that dashboard removals are high on the list. But when a customer take their car apart to repair it then takeout and brings it to us with bolts missing etc is definitely worse

    I like to label things with painters tape and write on them my own unique part number such as 12C cluster and then put 12 seat at the cluster.

    I´ve changed the heater core without even taking off the steering wheel.. 😉 That there is a shit load of work.
    But still a very time consuming job, and yeah it sucks ass. 😀
