The $650,000 Rolls-Royce Ghost has been recalled in Australia because some interior display screens could shatter glass fragments throughout the cabin in a crash.
Rolls-Royce Australia has recalled 39 examples of its 2019-2023 Rolls-Royce Ghost limousine because some of the display screens could shatter glass fragments throughout the cabin if the luxury sedan is involved in a side-impact crash.
The recall notice, lodged with the Department of Infrastructure, says: “During an accident with high side impact forces, the glass display screen may shatter propelling glass fragments inside the cockpit.
“If the display screen shatters, glass fragments may be propelled at high speed towards the driver and vehicle occupants and could cause serious injury.”
